By the end of the Level 1 course participants will be aware of:
- what to do if they have concerns about children in order to safeguard
and promote the welfare of children, including those who are suffering,
or at risk of suffering, significant harm
- what will happen once they have informed someone about those concerns

Is Being Abused, including how to share information
- some basic information and background about the legislative framework
within which children’s welfare is safeguarded and promoted.
